KCR congratulates Sania for winning Sydney International title

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today congratulated tennis star Sania Mirza for winning the Sydney International women's doubles title with her Swiss partner Martina Hingis. Sania and Martina's awe-inspiring run continued unabated as they lifted their second trophy of the season on Friday last in Sydney with the WTA Apia International title, after clinching their 30th win in a row. "Clinching the Sydney International title their 30th in a row and by winning 11 WTA doubles titles together is inspiring," an official statement quoted Rao as saying. The Chief Minister expressed hope that Sania will win more tournaments in future and bring laurels to the country and Telangana state.
