Afghanistan Men upset West Indies; Indian Women's semi-final hopes dashed

Afghanistan notched a brilliant victory in their last match of the men's World T20 tournament in Nagpur today when they defeated West Indies by 6 runs. In reply to Afghanistan's score of 123 for 8 in the stipulated 20 overs, West Indies ended their innings on 117 for 8. In the Women's World T20 match , West Indies dashed hopes of India of reaching the semi-final as they defeated the hosts by 3 runs in a thrilling finish in Mohali today. Put to bat, West Indies women scored 114 for 8 in 20 overs, but Indian women fell short of the target , ending their campaign at 111 for 9.
