Unani `doctor' accused of causing man's death arrested

A so-called Unani doctor, accused of causing a patient's death and trying to burn the body, was today arrested, Cyberabad police here said. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police station's inspector T Sudhakar said Hussain, the accused, was produced before a court which remanded him in judicial custody. Nayeemuddin, the victim, had visited Hussain's clinic in Old City area complaining of back-pain last Saturday. Hussain allegedly gave him an injection but Nayeemuddin developed some complications and later died. Hussain then tried to dispose of the body by burning it at an isolated spot, but some local people noticed it and alerted the police who registered a case under sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of IPC. Though Hussain claimed to be a Unani doctor, police didn't find any certificates in his possession. Further probe is on.
