UPSC's civil services mains to be held from December 18 to 23

The civil services main examination will be conducted in December, this year. The three stage examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission annually, to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), and other elite services. The mains examination, second stage will start from December 18 and to 23. There will be no exam on December 20. 15,008 candidates have qualified in this year's civil services preliminary examination. Those selected in the mains stage will go for interviews, the final stage.
