AP govt inks 32 MoUs with various companies

The Andhra Pradesh government has signed 32 MoUs with various companies attracting Rs. 1.95 lakh crore of investment in the state. The deals were made on the first day of the three-day long CII partnership summit in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu told reporters, Out of 32 MoUs, 22 are in energy sector. He further said, the total investment would create job opportunities for nearly 95,000 people. Replying to a query, the Chief Minister said, as many as 49 MoUs in the IT sector are likely to be signed on Monday.
