Kanhaiya Kumar released from Tihar Jail

JNU student union President Kanhaiya Kumar who is facing sedition charge has been released from Tihar Jail. He was arrested on 12th of last month. The Delhi High Court yesterday granted him interim bail for six months. The Court has asked him not to participate actively or passively in any activity which may be termed as anti-national. A bench of Justice Pratibha Rani had said, Kanhaiya has to cooperate in the ongoing investigation and present himself before the investigators as and when required. Kanhaiya is accused of raising anti-India slogans during an event organised on JNU campus on 9th of last month.
