Asad Owaisi objects to Digvijay's tweet

All India Majlis-e-Ittehad ul Musilmeen (MIM) PresidentAsaduddin Owaisi today took strong exception to the posting of the MIM leader's'objectionable picture' by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on the Twitter. In a chat with newsmen, Mr.Owaisi said the picture 'depicting one of hisfaces as that of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat' was an insult to Muslim community and added by it,Mr.Singh had insulted all Muslims. Hitting out at the Congress, Mr.Owaisi charged that it was under Congress rulethat Mumbai witnessed riots in December 1992 and January 1993. He also charged that the country had witnessed maximum communal violenceduring the Congress regime only. The MIM was the only party which opposed tooth and nail the BJP andthe RSS not only in Telangana but all over the country, Mr Owaisi , the Hyderabadi MP,claimed. Only when Muslims and Dalits get their rights in education, employment, housingand other sectors,that secularism would be strengthened in the country,he added.
