Govt focusing on education, skill development of Minorities: Najma Heptulla

Union Minister of Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla said Ministry is focusing on education and skill development of Minorities. Inaugurating a day long Annual Conference of the State Minorities Commission in New Delhi today, she said 20 thousand madrasa students are being trained under the Nai Manzil Scheme. This Scheme enables students of madrasas to cope with the contemporary education. Union Minister also said Maulana Azad National Academy for Skill is being undertaken in the traditional educational institutions of minorities for the first time.
