TMC seems to retain power in WB, AIADMK in TN, Cong wins 1st seat in Pondy, BJP leads in Assam and LDF in Kerala

The trends available in the Assembly polls in five states show that TMC seems to retain power in West Bengal and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. BJP allies seem to wrest power from Congress in Assam and LDF in Kerala. In Puducherry, Congress and DMK are well ahead of AINRC. In Assam, BJP and its allies are leading in 73 constituencies, Congress in 25 and AIUDF in 16. BJP Chief Ministerial candidate Sarbananda Sonowal is leading in Majuli, whereas Asom Gana Parishad President Atul Bora is leading in Bokakhat. AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal is trailing behind Congress' Wazed Ali Choudhary in Salmara South. In Tamil Nadu, AIADMK is leading in 124 constituencies and DMK allies in 82.
