Deputy Tahsildar trapped by ACB

A revenue official was today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana after he was trapped while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. V R Nayak, Deputy Tahsildar at Devarkonda Division in Nalgonda, was trapped in his office when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a person for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here. "The accused officer has been arrested and will be produced before the First Additional Special Judge for ACB cases here," it added.
