Three killed as under construction arch collapsed in Kukatpally

A day after two died in dilapidated building was collapsed in Chilkalguda in Hyderabad, Three workers died and two others were hospitalised receiving serious injuries today after an under construction Arch collapsed and debris fell on the workers. The mishap took place at Vasanthnagar in KPHB police limits. The deceased were identified as Nagabhushanam, Janardhan and Dharma Rao, all were daily-wage workers, native of Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Around 4.30 pm today, as many as five persons were working at Vasanthnagar where an arch is being under construction. Suddenly, the arch was collapsed and debris fell on the workers. In the mishap, three workers died on the spot by trapping under debris due to suffocation and two others were suffered injuries. The locals and police took up rescued operation by clearing debris. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital. Yesterday, a dilapidated building was collapsed and two persons died in the mishap took place in Chilkalguda police limits.
