Death toll of Indians in Mina stampede goes up to 18

Death toll of Indians in the Mecca stampede has gone up to 18. This was disclosed by MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup in New York this morning. The stampede on Thursday at Mina in Saudi Arabia has claimed 717 lives and left 863 people injured. Two million pilgrims from 180 countries were taking part in the Haj when the incident took place. Saudi Arabia's King Salman has ordered a safety review of the Haj pilgrimage after the tragedy. A commission to investigate the stampede has also been formed by the Saudi government.
