Continuing their solid run of form, Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis clinched the WTA Guangzhou Open title here on Saturday.
Sania-Martina defeated China’s Shilin Xu and Xiao-Di You 6-3, 6-1 to win the final.
This is Sania’s seventh title of the season and sixth with the Swiss tennis star.
Sania had won her first title of the 2015 season with Bethanie Mattek-Sands in Sydney.
Before bagging Guangzhou Open title, the Indo-Swiss pair had won three title in row at the start of the partnership — Indian Wells, Miami and Charleston in addition to their triumphs at the US Open and Wimbledon.
