Rajya Sabha to discuss JNU row, Hyderabad University issue

The Rajya Sabha will take up discussion on JNU row and suicide by a dalit research scholar in Hyderabad University. Sources said, the issues will be taken up under calling attention motion. The Lok Sabha is likely to discuss the same issue on 25th of February. The opposition parties have been demanding discussion on these issues terming them very serious. Earlier during all parties meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Chairperson of Rajya Sabha and Speaker of Lok Sabha, the opposition parties including Congress and Left had demanded for having a debate on these issues.
