Suspended SI tries to kill self

A police sub-inspector, suspended on corruption charges, allegedly tried to commit suicide by consuming a poisonous substance at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate premises here today, police said. SI Saidulu, suspended yesterday by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand, drank a liquid mosquito repellent. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he was being treated. Probe is on.
