Six killed after explosion in chemical factory in Maheshwaram
At least six workers were charred to death and two others injured after a major explosion in a chemical pharma factory at Maheshwaram manda, outskirts of Hyderabad today.
The fire broke out at the pharma factory in Mankhal industrial area following an explosion in chemical reactor, police said.
Two others were also injured and later they were taken to a hospital. According to local police, the blast took place in a reactor in a private Pharma and drugs factory this morning. SIX workers were charred to death when the rector exploded in the manufacturing unit. Eye witnesses informed that the explosion caused huge fire. Most of the deceased hailed from Chhattisgarh for employment.
