Cordon and search operations in osmania university police limits

The east zone police conducted a cordon and search operation at two places under its zone on Friday evening. A team headed by DCP (East), A Ravinder comprising around 200 police personnel participated in the operation at Manikeshwari Nagar and Vaddera Basti Kaman under Osmania University Police Station limits and took some suspects into custody for questioning. As many as 51 bikes, 3 auto-rickshaws without documents were seized in the search operation. Cops conducted raids on two illegal clinics and three Internet browsing centres and the organisers were detained.
