Delegation of Muslims calls on PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed hope that the Muslim community in the country shall be able to derive huge benefits from the welfare schemes initiated by the NDA Government, such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and Mudra Yojana. Speaking to a delegation of eminent Muslim citizens who called on him in New Delhi today, Mr Modi reiterated his commitment to development, laying special stress on education and especially, girl child education. Members of the delegation congratulated the Prime Minister on his recent successful visit to Saudi Arabia. They said people in West Asia, Central Asia and North Africa, especially the youth are extremely impressed his development agenda and want good relations with India. The members of the delegation included Shia Cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad, expert on international Islamic affairs Kamar Agha and Shahid Siddiqui among others.
