Highest April temperature in 10 years recorded in Telangana

In Telangana , all ten districts have been reeling under severe heat wave triggered by rise in temperatures. A maximum temperature of 45 degree Celsius, which is the highest in April in last 10 years in Telangana was recorded at Ramagundam, Adilabad and Nizamabad yesterday. The Met department has warned of high temperatures and heat wave for the next 48hours. The officials said, temperatures will be two to four degrees more than the normal in several places even today. Meanwhile, a committee under the chairmanship of government chief secretary has been set up to monitor heat wave situation and to save people from sun stroke.
