Severe heat wave conditions to prevail in Telangana

There is no respite for the people of Telangana that is reeling under the scorching heat for the past several days with many places in the state recording maximum temperatures above normal. The met officials informed that the severe heat wave conditions likely to prevail in the state for next three days. Meanwhile, the drinking water shortage has become severe across the state, with water levels in major reservoirs are falling drastically. The harsh summer made agriculture crisis further deep in most parts of the state. According to farmers organizations, about 15 lakh people have migrated from mainly Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts of the state to other parts of the country in search of work.
