Jagan and other YSRCP leaders left for Delhi to meet Prez, PM on defection issue

YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his party leaders has left for Delhi on Monday for ‘Save Democracy’. The party leaders would be staying in Delhi for the next two days will be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discuss about how the ruling TDP was luring the YSRCP MLAs with money and positions of power.They would also raise the issue of the unethical political practices of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. It may be recalled that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday met Governor ESL Narasimhan AM at Rajbhavan in Hyderabad. YS Jagan explained how the ruling Telugu Desam Party was engineering defections in Andhra Pradesh and how was using the kickbacks from the corrupt deals to lure the Opposition MLAs to defect. YSRCP has also launched 'Save Democracy’, an awareness drive on the TDP's machinations across the state. As part of it, the party workers will hold candle light processions on Saturday evening. Public meetings were held to highlight the misdeeds of the ruling party.
